Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
The VPS servers that we provide are suitable for various different purposes, depending on what you want to set up and run on them and the experience that you have. If your server features the cPanel or the DirectAdmin website hosting Control Panel, you will have full root access and will be able to manage your web content via a graphical interface, while you can still install server-side applications that may be needed by your sites and even by offline applications, for example VoIP software, media encoding software, various frameworks, etc. Without any Control Panel, you'll also have full root-level access, but you'll need to do everything through a console. When you choose to use our in-house built Hepsia web hosting Control Panel, there are certain root access restrictions, but this configuration is the simplest to control. This way, you will be able to select the virtual server plan which you really need.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
Each dedicated server that we offer features full root-level access, when the server is ordered with no Control Panel, or with cPanel or DirectAdmin. If you want to install and run heavy, resource-demanding apps and they have specific requirements with regard to the server software setting which cannot be fulfilled by an ordinary shared web hosting plan, our servers will be the perfect solution. With no Control Panel at hand, you're able to access the server and modify its settings and the content that you upload using a console, while with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you'll have a graphical interface to take care of everything related to your online content, and also the majority of server-side settings. Needless to say, if you get a dedicated server without a Control Panel, you can install some third-party instrument manually, as long as it supports the Operating System that you've chosen at registration. If you select our Hepsia Control Panel from your order page, you'll have restricted root access, however you will still be able to perform lots of things through a Secure Shell console.
