A: The website migration service offered by Webtor is totally free and involves moving all your web files, databases and e–mails from your present hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We will also modify all the settings needed for your web sites to be completely functional on our cutting–edge cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of transferring any sort of website. With years of experience in this field, they are experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other widely used Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–made app with plenty of custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress weblog.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time frame, since there are many factors, including the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll give our best to move your web site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not large).

A: We will need the login information for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the site’s name (domain name).

A: Before we can begin the migration of your hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share virtually the same info you have given to your old web hosting provider. We also have an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate info is used.

A: Nah. Your web site will continue to be available online during the migration. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is okay, all you will have to do is update your domain name’s DNS records.

A: Nope. We will never contact your hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the web site migration either.

A: We can migrate your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–based hosting platform on condition that we can get access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only websites that we cannot migrate are those based on closed–source software applications such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
